His past experiences include Confluent Surgical (purchased by Covidien), Ocular Therapeutix (IPO), Anika Therapeutics, Spherics, and Focal. Most recently he served as the Chief Scientific Officer at Access Vascular where he was the co-inventor of the company's flagship product.

He previously was part of Deloitte Consulting’s life sciences group advising pharmaceutical, medical device, hospital, and insurance clients on market analysis, strategy formulation, and M&A due diligence.
